48 Hours in Queenstown

Updated: Apr 26

Queenstown is a popular destination town all year round, but it’s particularly spectacular during winter - and skiing isn’t the only thing it’s famous for.

Day One - head out for a walk to the lakefront, it’s like glass first thing in the morning. Grab a coffee and get yourself to Skyline Queenstown for a gondola and luge ride. After lunch, jump on a helicopter tour, with an alpine landing on The Remarkables. Finish with a drive out to the iconic Cardrona Hotel and onto Lake Wanaka.

Day Two - start at Onsen Hot Pools. These boutique outdoor pools are just outside of Queenstown and have the most incredible views overlooking the Shotover River Canyon. Relax in style before lunch and a walk in Arrowtown. After lunch, nip back to Arthurs Point for your turn on the Shotover Jet. Wrap up with a round of golf or a spa treatment at Millbrook Resort.
